About the Founder

BIO

LP Business Valuation is led by Christian Schweizer, a seasoned business and valuation professional with a strong foundation in accounting and finance, combined with more than two decades of executive experience across global corporations, professional services firms, and early-stage companies. Mr. Schweizer brings a practical, real-world perspective to business valuation, shaped by years of advising leadership teams, analyzing business performance, and supporting strategic decision-making. Most recently, he served as Director of Marketing & Business Intelligence at Kaufman Rossin, one of the top 100 CPA and advisory firms in the United States, where he worked closely with C-suite executives on growth strategy, performance measurement, market analysis, and business positioning. Earlier in his career, Mr. Schweizer held senior leadership roles at IBM and Dell, where he was responsible for global analytics, marketing operations, and strategic planning across North America, Europe, and Asia. His experience spans both mature organizations and complex global operating environments, providing a strong framework for defensible and well-supported valuation conclusions.

In addition to his corporate background, Mr. Schweizer is deeply involved in the startup and investment ecosystem. He is the Founder and President of the Harvard Business School Alumni Angels of South Florida, where he has led investor due diligence efforts, evaluated early-stage companies, and supported founders with financial modeling, valuation discussions, and investor readiness. He also serves on the board of a health-technology startup, advising management on growth strategy, business planning, and capital-raising considerations. Beyond his professional practice, he serves as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Miami Herbert Business School, where he teaches analytics for marketers.

Based on his 20+ years experience, Mr. Schweizer delivers valuation services that are technically sound, thoughtfully reasoned, and grounded in how businesses truly operate and create value.

Education and Credentials:

Christian Schweizer holds a Bachelor of Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting and Finance and a minor in Economics from the Business School of Zurich (Kaufmännische Schule Zürich) in Switzerland. He later earned a Master of Business Administration from the ZHAW School of Management and Law (HWV Zürich). He is also a graduate of the General Management Program at Harvard Business School and holds the Certified Valuation Analyst® (CVA®) credential, conferred by the National Association of Certified Valuators and Analysts (NACVA).
